In the past year, 2017, there were over 12,000 charges of sexual harassment charges that were reported in the United States. As a matter of fact, this rise in the number of the sexual harassment charges as was in the United States was not only a case witnessed in the United States alone bit rather was a wave that spread and touched the world over as the page shows. In the same year as well we saw such a high number of the personalities known in the entertainment world and renowned celebrities from Hollywood speak out against the sexual harassment that they had experienced over the past years. In the initial final determination of the case, Chopourian was awarded a handsome settlement of over 160 million dollars. By and large, this was actually the highest award ever given to a sexual harassment victim ever in US history.
