You will learn that a third of the user of an age above 50 say it is hard for them to give up social media. They will often share content more than any other group. Of all generations, they have the highest disposable income. This makes them potential customers to individuals who want to have their products sold on social media. This is boosted by their readiness to share.

Finally, we have the baby boomers that were born from 1946 to 1964. They are the fewest across social media platforms. They actually like more content. It is for this reason that they will opt for platforms like Facebook. This is what will make it easier for them to share their opinions with friends. You will hence appreciate that social media is used by all generations.
